Cath & I are in the middle of a water damage claim. Our lives are quite unsettled and that will be the case for quite some time.  I intend to do the morning post as I can.  We may have to vacate our house?  Nothing is sure right now?

5-18-26   THOUGHTS

Let scripture speak today...  Ps 139:12  Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.   Isa 9:2   The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.  Isa 58:10   And if you give yourself to the hungry And satisfy the desire of the afflicted, Then your light will rise in darkness And your gloom [will become] like midday.  John 8:12   Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

Ps 112:4-8    Light arises in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious and compassionate and righteous.  5  It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment. 6   For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever.  7
He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.  8  His heart is upheld, he will not fear, Until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries.

Our Prayer:
How we praise and honor You great God of all creation.  You are our light in the darkness.  May we learn and practice Your grace and compassion.  Teach us to be gracious givers.   You have given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.  Give us steadfast and trusting hearts.  Help us to overcome, dear God.        In the name of the One who Saves us....  Amen.
